Ayurveda Living

About

This is the blog of Ayur Club – International Community of Ayurveda – where people can share their views on Ayurveda Living.  Our main site is http:www.ayurclub.com.  The idea behind this whole exercise is the propagation of Ayurveda world-wide.  We believe that Ayurveda, yoga and related disciplines -  the wisdom of India and its legacy to mankind – is what the world needs.  We welcome your comments and suggestions and we invite you to become active Ayur Club members as professionals or as fans.

Ayur Club has been for me a strange and somewhat impossible quest as Ayurveda seems more and more like an utopia.  When I ventured in this journey ten years ago, Ayurveda seemed around the corner.  While there is more interest towards Ayurveda in the same way that more people do yoga, Ayurveda seems even more elusive, difficult to understand and to apply in our daily lives mostly due to the absence – outside India - of competent and qualified practitioners and proper treatment facilities as well as genuine Ayurvedic products.

We are so to speak left to ourselves trying to decipher what is Ayurveda through books or over the Internet.  There are here and there some efforts to make Ayurveda accessible to a few but they are so sporadic and disseminated that they do count for very little.

One day perhaps Ayurveda will be made available to all.

P.S.  Finally, this blog is not about Ayurveda or me but about your life.
